State Retirement Pension

The State Retirement Pension is paid to people who have reached the state retirement age. The amount you receive will depend on the number of years of national insurance contributions you have paid or been credited with. Contact the <a href="http://www.thepensionservice.gov.uk/home.asp">Pension Service</a> or your local <a href="http://www.citizensadvice.org.uk/index/getadvice.htm">Citizens Advice Bureau</a> (CAB) or <a href="http://www.ageconcern.org.uk/">Age Concern</a> to check you are getting everything you are entitled to (including any supplements).
