Nominations for this year’s Awards were made by 4,069 residents living in 360 later life housing developments across the UK. All were consulted using EAC’s entertaing card game, designed to stimulate discussion and capture satisfaction ratings on scheme design, services and well-being, with the highest ranked schemes going forward as finalists for the Awards.
The Awards will be presented at the Hilton Deansgate in Manchester on 17th February 2016 where the bronze, silver and gold awards winners will be announced.
For housing providers EAC’s resident consultation offers two benefits. In addition to the chance of being involved in the Awards celerbration and accompanying publicity, each has already received a detailed report on the findings of the consultation for each of their schemes. These show their residents’ scores for each of the 20+ topics on which they were consulted, as well as comparisons with regional and national averages. The consultation is designed, and primarily intended, to help providers understand and respond to resident views.
