Music in Motion provides one hour workshops to residents of care homes and residential homes.   The music is varied in styles and era taking in the music from the wartime era through the 50s 60s 70s to current day.  Styles vary from upbeat to classical and music from the big Hollywood musicals.  The content of the workshops range from relaxing, listening and reminiscing, to upbeat, toe tapping and energetic.  Residents are given pieces of equipment such as tambourines and pom poms and encouraged to join in adding some movement and singing along to the music.  The workshops are varied and include a sing along and a very simple but enjoyable quiz to exercise the grey matter as well as the body. We offer a trial workshop for just £25 to allow you to gauge the residents' response and try us out.
