Day Care - Community Day Centres

What does it do?

Day care is the general term used for services accessed in our resource centres. This can include activities and events, or just the opportunity to spend time with other people to stop you feeling isolated if you can't get out and about as much as you'd like to. Day care centres sometimes offer learning opportunities to help you pick up new skills.

Some activities in day centres are available to everyone over the age of 55. Other services have eligibility criteria, so you may need to have an assessment of need before you can access them.

Some services are free, whilst others need to be paid for.
