Advice line

Advice and support for older age

What does it do?

Our Helpline and Advice teams are friendly and helpful and our particular areas of knowledge include: care and support, money and benefits, health and mobility for people that are 65 + , their families and carers.

When you call our Helpline we will aim to provide you with advice or support directly, or to point you in the right direction, but if you need advice on something a bit more complicated we will arrange a time for you to speak with one of our advisers (or recommend someone else if it is not one of our areas of expertise). The helpline can also send you copies of our free advice guides or leaflets if these will help you.

Our specialist advice service is a confidential telephone advice service covering our specialist knowledge areas. An appointments can range from a discussion around the assessment process for moving into care, how a hospital discharge should take place, to a full welfare benefit check to maximise your income.
