Personal Alarm Services

Personal alarms to help you live independently in your own home

What does it do?

Users have 24/7 telecare support at the press of a button on their pendant alarm. If the users need assistance, suffer a fall or have some other kind of medical emergency, the response centre will assess the situation and talk to the user over the personal alarm's speaker. If necessary, a keyholder will be contacted or the emergency services called if required. The personal alarm services provide the elderly with the support to live independently in their own home.

Who it is for?

PPP Taking Care's personal alarm services are for the elderly and vulnerable.

Where it is available?

National service (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales).

What it costs:

The personal alarm service is a subscription service available from £15.77 per month. There is a one-off £69 registration fee for new customers. Customers may not have to pay VAT on their personal alarm service if they have a condition that requires regular medication or are registered disabled. Prices exclude VAT and subject to change.
