Wolfren Riverstick

Specialising in retirement/care/nursing homes, I perform classic songs from the 1950s to mid-1970s mostly, carefully (and successfully) utilising a mixture of genres, whilst relating certain details and recalling facts (such as dates) surrounding artists in order to jog memories... particularly good for dementia sufferers, of course.

Together with an acoustic guitar (either amplified or completely unplugged, dependent upon size of venue) and occasional harmonica accompaniment, I sing and perform genres that include rock'n'roll, folk, country, easy-listening, pop and ballads, as well as interspersing my 'act' with plenty of much-loved sing-a-long tunes so as to encourage singing, dancing, laughter and happiness.

I have taken the time to memorise approximately 200 songs, but also travel with an almanac full of song sheets, for I endeavour to oblige possible requests.

Prior to the pandemic my diary was full with up to 30 bookings per month, which is now building again being as homes are re-opening to entertainers.

I also have experience of entertaining adults with learning difficulties, and hold a DBS certificate (viewable online) and have public liability insurance.

On occasion I am known to perform in pubs, clubs, at small festivals, and for private bookings too.

Travel is mostly localised to counties surrounding my current residential area; however, I can travel further afield but shall have to allow for extra mileage costs, naturally.
