I am an accomplished  singer, now 62 yrs young, who now also enjoys entertaining older people, mostly, sadly, Dementia sufferers,  I sing a good variety of well known songs from the 30s to the 60s...e.g.  Vera Lynn, Doris Day, Ella Fitzgerald, Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline.....even the Beatles!  I have a huge eclectic range of backing tracks to choose from, and am fully self contained. My husband, puts up the small speakers etc and plays the tracks for me, so I can interact with the residents.
