I sing the songs made famous by Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, Bing Crosby, Perry Como, Andy Williams, Cliff Richard, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly etc. I sing upliifting songs and if it is a carehome I bring flags and tambourines and encourage residents to wave,shake and sing along or they may just want to relax and listen to the music. I also do a 'Christmas with the Crooners show' with songs like 'White Christmas' 'Rudolph' and 'Silvers bells.' I dress in evening suit with vintage microphone for this and encourage carers and residents to come and join me on stage to sing 'Jingle Bells' and 'Frosty the Snowman.'I always take pride in the fact that everyone has a lovely time and I often get asked to come back.
