Need a quality entertainment duo who understand the needs of the individuals from all walks of life. These are the boys to entertain you. Actually specializing in reminiscence therapy, and music therapy, the boys are perfect for the care sector, especially dementia units and challenging behaviours, but also put on a great show for everyone else too Paul and John know exactly what it’s like to work in a busy care home. Between them they have been Activities co-ordinators,   nurse, manager, trainer and reminiscence therapist. They have also over 30 years each in the music industry, playing guitar, bass, drums and singing in pubs, clubs and festivals all over Europe. They have carefully chosen songs and themes for their shows that accurately reflect the reminiscences of the client you would find in a modern care home. The shows are cleverly written so that everyone old and young will enjoy. They currently work in one particular home, tried out their unique style on the residents of that home with a rip-roaring success, so much so they were commissioned to write a further two shows and a Christmas Pantomime   John brings to the show his awesome ability to be able to replicate any voice or accent he hears. Paul is the main writer and think tank behind the shows. All the props used are very much on a shoestring budget, in fact have a bit of card some tape and a bit of paint they will make virtually anything asked of them. Paul brings his clubland experience to your stage, singing songs by Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Cliff Richard, Al Jolson etc. John adds the comedy element and also being a talented vocalist in his own right brings you songs by George Formby and Tom Jones. Between them they give you a show second to none, Incorporating all of the above along with those knees up songs associated with a pub piano (Chas and Dave style) and their very own 10 minute tribute to everyone’s favourite comedy duo, Laurel and Hardy. There are three variants on offer plus a seasonal pantomime. Show 1 is basically designed around the good old days and the Music Hall., with Rock n Roll and Comedy. Show 2 is based around the 40’s through to the 60’s, the theme of which is “our teenage years and idols” Introducing songs by Johnny Ray, Guy Mitchell and Marty Robbins. Oh yes, not forgetting the boys’ very own version of Laurel and Hardy. Which brings us to Show 3. The boys put a comedy edge to the whole show, giving you Gormless George and his Uke, Ruddy Brolly, Uncle ‘Arold,  Paul McCartwheel and John Mellon, Moron and Mardy and the Famous Cockney Diamond Geezers. All shows encourage audience participation at anytime during the show. The boys are fantastic enablers to assist this and totally understand the therapeutic benefits that MUSIC AND COMEDY have to offer. The No.1 therapeutic care entertainer in the country.
