I currently have eight 50 minute shows successfully running, bringing popular music to the community. There are also two further shows in production and will be available from January 2015, Retro Rita's Stage & Screen Song Book and Retro Rita's Music Hall Sing-A-Long. The cost of each show is £75.
*  I arrive at the venue about 20 minutes before
    the show
*  I set up three photographic banners that form
    my backdrop, these banners have black and
    white images of people in the 50's and 60's.
    Residents love these as they evoke memories
    of times past in their own lives
*  I set up a small PA system so my voice and
    music can be amplified to suit the room. I can
    even perform outside in the summer if
    requested and weather permits
*  I sing live to pre recorded music
*  I bring small instruments for residents to bang
    and shake should they wish to join in, but I
    never push this aspect
*  Residents are gently encouraged to join in if
    they know the songs, I have tried to pick
    popular songs that people will know
*  As I am playing the character of Retro Rita, I
    wear costume to suit the theme
* I sing for approximately 1 hour, which
   equates to approximately 17 - 22 songs

Act content includes Christmas Crackers, Country Classics, Stage & Screen Songbook, Memories Are Made Of This 50's & 60's Show, Music Hall Sing-a-Long, West End Wonders, Summertime Seaside Special & Forties Favourites.

I have been singing for many years and have been professionally trained. I have worked locally with "The Olde Tyme Players" where we have attended many residential homes across Dorset and Hampshire for many years, but due to cuts in funding it has now been necessary to become a solo performer.
