Show more "Windy Ridge Care Home is in Barton-on-sea, in the county of Hampshire, and caters to service users who require nursing care or have mental health problems such as Alzheimer’s and dementia. The home is located within walking distance of the sea front, and therefore is a regular outing, often via the ice-cream parlour, of course. The home also benefits from access to the mini bus at our sister home Birchy Hill and trips out into the local area are enjoyed.The home is an older style seaside home, which is revealed in the home’s decor. The home can care for 21 service users, in mostly single rooms. We also have some double rooms, allowing this facility, over the years, to enable married couples to stay together. The home has a large lounge/diner, as well as a large conservatory that overlooks our garden. Our lovely garden compliments the home and includes seating areas and flower beds, which enable those who wish to continue their gardening hobby to do so. It is a well-used space, especially at party time, and has many features, including a seaside area." Show less
