I am a recently retired Secondary School Head of Music having completed 39 years service in Hertfordshire.
In my teaching career, I regularly organised school choir and band events at local care homes in Stevenage - often at Christmas and during other public holidays.
I am now looking forward to using my skills in the community to get people singing !
I would only charge a modest fee per visit as I just need to keep my sheet music repertoire relevant, and my digital piano in good working order. I am not seeking to earn a profit for a living. I would just like to get to enjoy using my skills to make a difference - as I remember so well how my own mother enjoyed our school musical visits at the Wymondley Care Home in North Herts.
I do themed Elton John events singing and playing the piano as well as Beatles, Elvis, and Billy Joel - plus pretty much any repertoire from the last 6 decades of pop.
