Miss Lisa Locarno

Hello! I am a vintage singer, specialising in performing popular music from 1930's-1970's with an authentic look and sound. I perform well-loved songs and have a huge and ever-growing repertoire including Jazz classics, 1940's Wartime Swing, 1950's Ballads and Rock & Roll, I960's Pop and Soul, plus some hits of the 1970's. I pride myself on being a very adaptable performer and am happy to create a bespoke set to suit the venue or special occasion :)

* I will have an entire WW2 set available for any 80th D-Day Anniversary events this June! *

I am a professionally trained and very experienced performer, and once featured on TV's Stars in Their Eyes as 50's jazz singer Julie London, singing Cry Me A River.

Having performed with several different gigging duos over the years, I finally went solo in 2023 as Miss Lisa Locarno! I am asolutely loving performing all the timeless classics around  care homes and day centres and dressing up in a vintage style - it's wonderful to see how powerful music can be in lifting people's spirits and jogging memories. I feel I have a special rapport with older people and an understanding of their sense of humour, as well as the particular songs which generally appeal, as I spent over a decade as a carer for my elderly Mother.

Please get in touch and we can have a chat about what I can bring to your venue or event :)
