My name is Kristie Charles and I have been entertaining for 27 years, working all over the country, home and abroad, on cruise ships, hotels, clubs and theatres. I have a genuine warm, friendly, and caring personality that I feel is necessary when working in the caring profession. 

For the past 6 years I have worked in a number of care homes, sheltered accommodation and day centres, which I have enjoyed very much, and it gives me great pleasure to see residents happy.

 

I offer one hour of Musical Entertainment / therapy by singing songs from a broad range of different eras, i.e. 50’s, 60’s, country to old time singalong to name a few. I also encourage the residents to join in as much as physically possible by providing musical percussion instruments such as, tambourines and shakers, and find that they get a lot of enjoyment by taking part. I believe that everyone can respond to music, even those who are profoundly troubled or isolated can be touched by music and for some it can be their best or only method of communication.
