Kevin Barry is a singer / guitarist and entertainer for the Young at Heart. 

From an early age, his musician grandad encouraged him to sing along to records by Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Tom Jones, Cliff Richard and Elvis Presley. His grandad also taught him old time songs from the Music Hall days to WW2. 

Kevin was a singer and guitarist in an award winning function band for many years, playing all sorts of venues and functions from clubs to parties to weddings and corporate events. For the last few years, he has been a solo guitarist and singer and he has a lot of experience of performing in all sorts of venues, big and small, and working with all sorts of clients, from one-off events and parties to residencies and seasons. 

Kevin loves performing in residential and care homes. He loves bringing the 'old days' alive with a large repertoire of 1950s - 1980s classics and party songs, and by request, he can also perform classics from the Rat Pack years, featuring Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and Michael Buble, and old time singalongs from the Music Hall years, the 1940s and World War 2. Kevin is dimentia aware, and understands the importance of music as a therapy and as a connection to past memories. Everything Kevin does is delivered with personality, audience participation and a little fun and laughter.

Kevin has an enhanced DBS (CRB) certificate, public liability insurance and only uses top quality equipment, which is PAT tested where necessary.
