Dave has been singing, playing and entertaining since the 60s when he joined Ray Du-Val and  'The Checkmates' whose lead singer, Emile Ford had many hits in the late 50s and 60s including "What Do You Wanna Make Those Eyes at Me For".  Since then he has played in local bands on the South Coast including 'The Concords', 'Cosy', 'Rhinestone' and 'The Detours' whose members have also had national success.

Dave's musical taste covers all aspects of popular music and includes songs from the 'Swing' and 'Big Band' era such as performed by Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Matt Monro and Michael Buble. Cliff Richard, Elvis, Neil Diamond and other popular artistes through the decades also feature in Dave's sets. If it's good music, it's in the set!

Dave is equally happy in a large audience atmosphere as he is in more intimate situations.
