I love offering my services to Care Homes as my mother had vascular dementia and to watch her face light up when music played giving her back memories even just for a short time was uplifting for her and me . Based in Yorkshire and the West Midlands Cheryl Atherton is a Mezzo Soprano specialising as a singer for Weddings, Theatre, Cabaret, Care Homes, and Corporate Events. Cheryl grew up in Sheffield. Cheryl went on to study Musical Theatre in London . On completion she worked with Big Bands and became vocalist at the Grand Hotel, Bayswater, and has performed at the Fortune Theatre, London and at the Savoy Hotel, London and other venues in England
