Anita's Sing Along Show
My name is Anita and I live in Portobello, Edinburgh. I am a professional singer/ entertainer and have been for 20 years.
I regularly perform in residential homes and for day groups in Edinburgh and have done so for over 15 years. I have worked for many organisations including Viewpoint and BUPA and lots of smaller independent groups.
The show I have put together is aimed specifically at groups and is a great fun feel good show including songs spanning the decades from the 1930‘s to the 1970‘s. There is a good mix of Rock n Roll, Country, Big Band, Ballads, Jazz, Blues, Scottish traditional, Show songs, and some good old fashioned sing a long classics. Songs from artists including, Frank Sinatra, Dorris Day, Judy Garland, The Carpenters, Elvis, Buddy Holly, Ella Fitz Gerald, Dame Vera Lynn, Patsy Cline, Abba, Tina Turner Bing Crosby, The Everly Brothers, The Beatles, and Billie Holiday to name a few.
I bring along a bag of tambourines, maracas, shaky eggs etc... and encourage anyone who wants to, to join in with me, we often have a few guests up on the dance floor too!!!
I have attached a little clip of a show from last year to give you an idea of things. I can also provide 2 references from homes where I have played regularly for sometime if required. I provide all equipment which is fully PAT tested and insured.
