What does it do?

What is Socialise and Exercise Club?

Exercise and Social classes are for older clients to help prioritise health and mobility through tailored, low-impact activities, emphasising functional movements and balance. These classes are provided in a supportive environment contributing to a fulfilling and active lifestyle.

We are currently running a Tai Chi class which is a holistic exercise that addresses physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Its gentle nature helps promote overall health and quality of life. Before starting any new exercise program, it's advisable for older adults to consult with their healthcare provider, especially if they have any pre-existing health conditions.

It is also a chance to meet like minded people and enjoy a chat over a cup of tea or coffee.

What can I expect at the session?

• Guidance from an experienced fitness coach

• Tai Chi involves slow, controlled movements that help improve balance and stability and promotes flexibility and joint mobility.
