Or
Have you, or someone you know, lost confidence in going out on your own?
We have a wonderful team of friendly volunteers, who are part of our Social Inclusion Project, that is here to support the older residents of Rushmoor District, who find themselves socially isolated at home. There are one of three ways we can help:
· Telephone Befriending:
This is a regular, friendly weekly telephone call from the same volunteer Befriender, who is matched up to the person.
· Befriending:
This is a regular weekly visit, made by the same volunteer Befriender who is matched up to the person.
· Buddying:
This is designed to help people regain their confidence to be able to go out on their own again The Buddy volunteer will accompany the person on a number of planned trips into town or social group during the day time.
