Adult Social Care
Care and support for older people in South GloucestershireWhat does it do?
The help you will receive will depend on your situation and needs. We provide a wide range of services to help adults to live as independently as possible. People can choose for the council to either provide some services, such as Day Services or equipment and adaptations in the home or to arrange services from voluntary and private providers, such as help with personal care.
Who it is for?
Our aim is to help people with any disability over the age of 18 to be as independent as possible; to be healthy; to take part in the everyday life of their community, including using the full range of facilities on offer; and to be able to do paid work if they wish
