Lifeline Plus Service

What does it do?

Our Lifeline Service is a 24 hour monitoring service to help people feel safer in their home. 
In addition to the Lifeline we also offer further support in the form of our Lifeline Plus Service.
This service aims to provide housing related support for clients in their own home, such as help
with form filing, letter reading and information on other services.

Who it is for?

 

This service is used by older and vulnerable people and those with a disability. 

Where it is available?

Local service (Watford).

What it costs:

Level 1 – Charge per week £3.99 (57p a day)
Lifeline unit – Monitored 24 hours a day throughout the year, plus 1 or 2 visits a year from our
Flexi Support Worker to check the lifeline/telecare equipment is working. 

Level 2 - Charge per week £9.99 (£1.43 a day)

Lifeline unit (plus all of the above) with the benefit of a weekly visit or telephone call from our
Flexi Support Worker to check on your wellbeing and to check the lifeline/telecare equipment is
working.
 
Level 3 - Charge per week £14.99 (£2.14 a day)
Lifeline unit (plus all of the above) with the benefit of a daily visit or telephone call from a Flexi
Support Worker to check on your wellbeing and to check the lifeline/telecare equipment is
working.
 
Clients can opt for level 2 and 3 without having a lifeline unit installed.

If you receive benefits then the service may cost you nothing or you may be eligible for a Fairer Charging Assessment from Hertfordshire County Council.
