Somerset Community Meals Service

What does it do?

The Service delivers you frozen meals every two weeks. The frozen meals
must be kept in a freezer and can be reheated in a microwave, special
steamer or ordinary oven. This means that you can choose what you eat
and when you eat it and can have a cooked meal every day.

Your dietary, religious or ethnic needs can be catered for.

If you need help to get your meal ready or to eat it, this can be arranged after an assessment of your needs.

Who it is for?

The Somerset Community Meals Service is for older people and people with
disabilities who we agree need help to make sure they can have regular
cooked meals. This is provided at a discounted rate menu by Wiltshire
Farm Foods.

Where it is available?

Local service (Mendip, South Somerset, Taunton Deane, West Somerset, Sedgemoor).
