What does it do?

We can help you with:

  • Understanding the terms of your tenancy, rights and responsibilities; guidance on remaining safe in your home
  • Assistance with understanding rent and council tax payments
  • Assistance with making council tax and housing benefit claims
  • Basic budgeting, money management and issues around debt
  • General correspondence and help opening bank accounts
  • Support to access community activities and services
  • Assistance with accessing other services e.g. dentist, GP, health service, life skills, day centres and domestic help
     
    These are just a few examples of the support that we can provide.

for people over the age of 60

What to expect then:

We will arrange a visit to your home to complete an individual support plan, with your input, that forms the assessment of your needs and enables us to tailor the service to suit you.
