Bramble Home Care
What does it do?
Care can be offered every day of the week, all year round and our services range from a 30 minute visit to a 24hour live-in carer.
- Personal Care – for instance if you require assistance getting up in the mornings, bathing, dressing and/or preparing you for bed at night.
- Sleep-in service – if you or your regular carer needs support during the night only.
- Domestic Service – this could include cleaning, laundry, ironing, shopping, preparing meals and/or walking your pet.
- Dementia Support/Care Package – A care package tailored to meet your needs using the expertise gained from the dementia specialist Bramble Care Home – to assist you and your family through the challenges of ‘Living Well With Dementia’ in your own home (details on request).
- Return from hospital – this is a service that prepares your home for your return from hospital, we can liaise with the health care professionals to ensure that everything is in place for your return and rehabilitation.
- Care Escorts - to support you within the community and to enable you to lead a full and active social life. This could involve accompanying you to the shops or hospital; alternatively your support worker may plan social trips and participation in groups or organisations based on your interests and your preferences. They can either simply make arrangements for on your behalf or can accompany you.
- Palliative care – Carers specifically training in palliative care can provide supervision, support and personal care (please note we do not offer nursing care)
- 24 hour live-in care
- Companionship – If you want someone to keep you company, read to you, or to assist you in maintaining a lifelong hobby thereby offering practical and emotional support.
- Social Trips out – Join together with other clients to socialise and develop friendships. We offer trips out in our Bramble Home Care minibus to a variety of venues that you can book from our monthly programme of events.
- Prompting taking medication. (Carers do not administer medication)

We offer Specialist Dementia Care and Support packages. These are tailor made to the needs of the client and are delivered by staff trained in dementia care and can be extend to Live-in respite care if required.
