The West Dorset Branch

What does it do?

Our objectives are to:
•Provide support for people affected by MND
•Raise money to help people affected by MND
•Raise awareness about MND within the West Dorset area
•Influence policy and decision-makers within Dorset, to the benefit of people affected by MND
•Liaise with health and social care professionals such as speech therapists, occupational therapists and the medical profession
Our branch is aiming to hold regular support meetings for people living with MND and their carers. These will provide an opportunity to meet with other people living with the disease, and to share experiences and ideas.

Who it is for?

The West Dorset Branch of the Motor Neurone Disease Association has the sole aim of serving all those in the area who are affected by Motor Neurone Disease (MND). This includes people with MND, their carers, family and friends.
