Checking in at Home
What does it do?
Checking in at Home is a personalised, automated, home call service that keeps you in touch and informed for whenever your loved ones need you. It is a 7 day a week telephone based service that gives you the peace of mind for when you can't be there. The service calls in upto 3 times/day and requests each call be acknowledged. Only if the call is not acknowledged does this raise an alarm with nominated friends/family to notify them that their loved one has not been contactable.

Checking in at Home is a service to support the older person living independently at home.

National service (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales).

Established as an entry level telecare service, Checking in at Home is available for £2.99/week

What to expect then:
Once they have applied, applicants will receive an e-mail to confirm and details of how to record their own personalised messages. The service will then take over and start making the calls and only if the calls are not acknowledged, will the nominated next contacts be informed.
