The End-of-Life Rights Information Line

What does it do?

The End-of-Life Rights Information Line is the only national helpline in the UK that supports people to make decisions about the care and treatment that is right for them at the end of life.  We do this by providing information about legal rights and options under current UK law and how to make sure that people's wishes are respected.

Who it is for?

The End-of-Life Rights Information Line is for anyone who is facing the need to make decisions about their care and treatment.   The service also provides information on end-of-life rights and choices for carers, families and healthcare professionals.

Where it is available?

National service (England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, Wales).

What it costs:

The Information Line is free to call from landlines and can also be contacted by email and letter.
