Blue Badge Scheme

What does it do?

The Blue Badge Scheme is the new name for the Disabled Parking Scheme and provides a national arrangement of parking concessions for people who have a permanent and substantial disability which means they cannot walk or which makes walking very difficult who travel either as drivers or passengers.

Additional information:

The Blue Badge Scheme allows badge holders to park closer to their destination. The national concessions apply only to on-street parking.
