Supporting sight impaired people living in Gloucestershire

What does it do?

  • Helpline 01242 22 11 70
  • Low Vision Resource Centre - showcasing a range of equipment, gadgets and technology that may be of use to people living with sight loss.
  • Outreach Service.  This is a weekly drop in service at Moreton in Marsh, Gloucester,Cirencester and Stroud.

All of these services are led by our qualified Sight Loss Advisors who are able to offer advice and information covering a range of subjects, eye conditions, benefits and other support available to you.

Who it is for?

Anyone living or accessing Gloucestershire Hospital services for eye care.   We support people living with sight impairment, you do not need to be registered sight impaired (partially sighted) or severely sight impaired (blind) to access any on our services.

Where it is available?

Local service (Forest of Dean, Gloucester, South Gloucestershire, Stroud, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, Cotswold).

What it costs:

As a charity we provide free information and advice but do welcome donations to support our services.
