What does it do?

Sheffield Community Transport (SCT) is a social enterprise with charitable status. We have been providing a range of transport related services to the people of Sheffield (South Yorkshire, U.K.) since 1988.
Shopper Bus services in Sheffield provide links between local communities and opportunities for shopping and personal business, such as a visit to a First Point office, library or bank.
City Ride is a door-to-door service run by Sheffield Community Transport for people who have difficulties using public transport.
Community Car Scheme works with volunteers who have their own cars, They help transport people from all over Sheffield who have mobility difficulties and who have problems using public transport.
Collective Travel vehicles are available for use by local community groups at non-profit making rates and can be used for a wide range of activities. The vehicles may be used for short and long-distance trips.
Volunteers find their time with Sheffield Community Transport (SCT) rewarding and enjoyable. Not only would you be putting something back into the community but could also gain nationally recognised qualifications FREE of charge.
