Show more "Located close to the port of Dover and 25 miles away from Canterbury, in Kent, Fitzwalter Court consists of 30 Flats, 18 double and 12 single. The court has a pleasant communal lounge, disabled shower room, laundry room and a twin bedded guest room. Local amenities include a convenient store and a fast food restaurant, around the corner from the court. The town centre is four miles away, which can be reached by the local bus service, allowing easy access to a GP surgery, pharmacy, retail outlets and large supermarkets. Being close to the port of Dover, travel options are vast with ferries to France and the Mediterranean.

Our Court Manager Service is an important and integral part of Housing 21’s approach to supporting our residents. It is designed to offer support and security to the court and those residents on court who need it. The service is about promoting and encouraging individuals to maintain their independence in their own home.

Our Managers are also responsible for the day to day running of the court including looking after the Health & Safety, property management and resident engagement.

A major refurbishment of Fitzwalter Court was completed in 2017, included installation of new open plan kitchens complete with new appliances, as well as high-spec bathrooms with low-level shower facilities in all the flats. The communal lounge has been redecorated and new furniture provided. There is a new communal kitchen and an office for the Court Manager. Other communal spaces including corridors, laundry room, a guest room and an on-site hair salon have also been updated and modernised." Show less
