Slowing down should no longer be the mantra for old age. Yes, our brains and muscles can deteriorate as we get older, but that just means we have to exercise them more.Studies have shown what we all instinctively know, that quality of life is enhanced through social connections; through learning or teaching new skills and remaining active. This time of life can be truly fantastic, but we need to look after ourselves. We all need to invest in our health. As they say, “if you have your health, you can do anything.”
That’s why we’ve launched Wallacea Living, to make this way of life easier to achieve. From providing opportunities for owners to share and discover talents and interests, to proactive wellbeing programmes with fully trained staff who are always looking out for you and can even provide in-home care facilities, should you need them.
Our mission is to inspire the fun bits of life whilst being there to provide the support and care when needed – we’re creating real communities that challenge the expectations of ageing and offer fuller, richer lives.
