At Richmond Willaston, we hope to help transform the way people are supported to live with dementia in the UK. Our household model creates a supportive environment for those with early onset dementia, providing a positive and proactive lifestyle. We also support more advanced stages of dementia in our 35 bed care home.
Helping to keep those with early onset dementia as independent as possible, our households will feature a fully-equipped kitchen and laundry facilities, encouraging residents to help with making meals and washing their own clothes, with the support of home makers.
Our care and support team will be known as Home Makers to work within each household to assist our residents to make their meals, do laundry and housekeeping. Home makers will also support in events, activities and outings.
In the communal areas of the Village there is a restaurant, café bar and private dining, hair salon, nail bar and treatment rooms. Outside, residents can enjoy landscaped courtyards and gardens; there is even a children’s playground to help bring the whole family together.
