The developers designed the care home to ensure the residents living accommodation was designed for independent living whilst offering the care the residents required. All of the rooms are fully furnished with flat screen TV and a walk in shower room; some rooms have a small kitchenette.Magdalen House is situated within the heart of Hadleigh, which is a historic market town in Suffolk with 246 listed buildings. The name Hadleigh is believed to derive from the Norse word Haethlega (a heath-covered place). It is populated by families whose connection to the town extend for generations and incomers attracted by its links to larger towns such as Ipswich, Sudbury and Colchester. The home was built on the old Hadleigh Bowls Club, established from 1754 to 2010 making it one of the oldest bowls club in the country." Show less
