Show more "Our independent living schemes are ideal for people who wish to maintain their independent way of living, but with the added security of scheme managers and assistive technology, linked directly to our 24 hour support centre.We offer a variety of safe, secure and independent accommodation for older people in sheltered housing schemes, including flats and bungalows suitable for single people or couples. Many of these homes have been built with access for wheelchair users in mind, and have facilities and adaptations to meet the needs of people with health and mobility difficulties.
NCHA has also been providing accommodation and support for Asian Elders since 1989. Ashiana based in Sneinton and Basera House in Hyson Green provide a culturally appropriate environment and a support service delivered by Asian language speaking staff. All flats are independent and include a kitchen, bedroom, lounge and bathroom. Ashiana is a corridor scheme and flats at Basera House all have external front doors into a courtyard." Show less
