Perennial is a national charity with a specific remit of helping horticulturalists in need. Numbers of residents from the industry have fallen steadily over recent years - due primarily to individuals' understandable unwillingness to move from other parts of the country., leaving their friends and family. As a result, fewer and fewer gardeners were moving to Red Oaks so the charity chose to transfer the ownership of Red Oaks to Barchester.
