We put great emphasis on maintaining dignity, privacy, choice, fulfilment, rights and independence ensuring our residents have a home from home lifestyle.We offer varying activities which include shopping trips, lunch trips, music to movement, interactive social events and we also have a beautiful sensory garden to enhance residents wellbeing. We also have a selection of larger rooms above the Commission of Social Care Inspection recommendation. The rooms have views overlooking the large lawn area or the garden. All bedrooms have a privacy lock fitted to the door and residents can choose to have keys for their bedroom door as they wish. All bedrooms provide a lockable facility within the room for residents to use as they choose to.
The home is fully central heated and offers a comfortable atmosphere for the residents. A choice of single or shared accommodation is available. There are 30 rooms in total. 20 single rooms are situated on the ground floor with 6 singles and 2 doubles (which can be occupied by a single resident if they wish) on the first floor, to which there is a passenger lift. Bedrooms on the first floor have en-suite. All rooms have doors wide enough to be accessible by wheelchairs and provide wash hand basins with lighting above the basins. All bedrooms have 24 hour call systems in place and residents can seek assistance anytime day or night. We also have installed CCTV, this is in all communal areas to protect both our residents and staff." Show less
