It is an impressive, period building set on the hilltop overlooking the town, which has many excellent shops, cafĂ©s and restaurants. It has delightfully well-kept, sheltered gardens and walkways. Much of the interior is classical with carved wooden ceilings, panelled walls and stained glass windows.

Mount Ephraim House has a total of 38 bedrooms, several with en-suite facilities. Each room is fully furnished to a high standard. Residents are encouraged to bring in personal items such as pictures, ornaments and small items of furniture. The rooms are also equipped with a call bell system, TV point, easily accessible light switches and plug sockets. In addition, we have a number of assisted bathrooms/shower rooms.
