Moreton has a range of nearby facilities including a post office, doctors surgery, dentists, banks and places of worship. Larger supermarkets are a short drive away and there are leisure centres, pubs, cafés, a cinema and a theatre in the local area. The Wirral peninsular offers a wealth of beautiful beaches and open countryside. The historic city of Chester with its Roman heritage is also only 20 miles away. The court is near the mainline Liverpool station, providing easy access to all the shops, theatres, attractions and events the major city has to offer. Buses go regularly into Liverpool, Chester and the Wirral from the bus stop around the corner from Harvest Court and there is a reliable local taxi service.Harvest Court has its own onsite day care centre, restaurant, hairdresser, laundry, car park and shop selling groceries and new and second-hand gifts. The gardens are wheelchair-friendly with various shrubs, mature trees, raised vegetable beds and pleasant seating areas where residents can congregate on summer days. Green-fingered residents are welcome to get involved in planting and tending areas of the garden if they choose. Bird feeders are located around the gardens to attract local wildlife.
Harvest Court offers a range of activities for residents to get involved with, with its own social committee. The development hosts regular coffee mornings, carpet bowls sessions, film afternoons, quizzes, fish and chip suppers and monthly coach trips." Show less
