The court is located close to Pershore Abbey and its surrounding parkland, within five minutes’ walk of a wide range of local amenities.Roland Rutter Court has a range of onsite facilities for residents to use including a communal lounge, laundry and en suite guest room. The court has well-maintained gardens and several residents choose to maintain the areas in front of their flats and add colourful flowers and shrubs. All residents are welcome to join in with any gardening if they wish and tend to their own vegetable patch. The court is home to a variety of wildlife including several species of birds.
Roland Rutter Court is a friendly development with its own residents’ association. A wide range of social activities are available for residents and there is a dart board and pool table in the communal lounge. Residents often visit the town centre to enjoy the local football club, Navy club, dragon boating, rambling club, the Royal British Legion or one of the local pubs.
Our Court Manager Service is an important and integral part of Housing 21’s approach to supporting our residents. It is designed to offer support and security to the court and those residents on court who need it. The service is about promoting and encouraging individuals to maintain their independence in their own home.
