Sam T's Socials

I am a previous Care Home Activities Coordinator with 4 years experience. I worked in the care home my Mum lived in so I could be close and make her end of days as much fun as I could muster. She passed in Oct and I feel led to bring to a wider audience the Friday afternoon music party I would hold in the lounge that Mum and the residents and relatives loved. It was a social afternoon for all to enjoy.

It's developed the more I thought about it into a music and comedy Variety Social Afternoon. A bit of this, a bit of that but all brought by lived experience of what brought the residents to life.

I don't want to hit and run after an hour. I would like to do a 40 min set, have a tea round where I can mingle and chat with your residents and then 30 mins of more party favourites to finish.

My show is inspired by classic British comedy legends like Tommy Cooper and Morecambe & Wise. I combine physical slapstick comedy, silly magic, trivia or music questions (if applicable), lighthearted nostalgia and high-energy singalongs. It is a highly interactive, fast-paced event designed to get residents laughing out loud and reminiscing about the golden era of British entertainment. Coupled with a playlist of some really popular music and singalong songs everyone knows. I'm so excited to meet you all!
