Purple Bear Music Workshop

Purple Bear Music Workshops focus on social interaction, participation, and individual expression through group performance with a range of accessible melodic and percussion instruments. We have a number of activities to suit residents of all abilities, and we will work with you to ensure individual needs are met so the workshop is fully inclusive for all involved.

Workshop may include*:

  • exploring rhythms & dynamics (following instructions, leadership)

  • shifting drones (leadership, improvisation, listening to others, following instructions)?

  • musical colours challenge

  • pattern creation (creative, individual expression, listening to others)

  • 4 chord song creation (following instructions, listening to others, working together)

  • dynamic percussion

  • Boogie Woogie performance (confidence, working together, creativity and individual expression)

  • Rock & Roll jukebox performance
