Ishtar and Lady Sian Ishtar is a singer of songs from the 50's and belly dancer her work with drag artist Lady Sian provides a unique collaboration of cabaret, dance and song. The pair can be booked individually or together. They have been entertaining for a variety of venues and audiences for the past twenty years. Recently they were commissioned by the prestigious award winning organisation ‘Homotopia’ to tour sheltered accommodation homes in the North West region. This project received rave reviews from the housing associations concerned. Ishtar has been employed by Age UK to promote dance as a form of gentle fitness for older people. As well as sheltered housing the pair have performed in Old people’s homes, hospitals, bars, clubs and theatres throughout the UK. The girls provide a fun, uplifting, glamorous show with many costume changes with audience participation, including dance and sing-a-longs. The show includes vocal workshop, sing-a-longs to the songs of the good old days, belly dancing, ‘Psychic Bingo’ (funny mix of bingo and mediumship), slow dancing (waltz) with willing participants. We can modify our show to suit hen parties and corporate functions. We can offer meet and greet. We can include other drag queens and DJ. We can supply any extra entertainers, videographers, photographers as required and can manage the entertainment and promotion for your whole event. Our ambition in all of our shows, is to give our clientele a beautiful day/night they will never forget. We do shows day or night time and may be available at short notice. We can be booked over a number of days and might consider one-hour appointments. Our reasonable fees are negotiable depending on distance and time required.
