Animal Therapy with Lion Learners
Enjoy a pet therapy session with the Lion Learners animals. All our animals can be handled by the residents, it's a fantastic tactile experience and often gets residents talking about their own experiences with animals.
Animals include rabbits, tortoise, guinea pigs, lizards, snake, giant millipede.
Residents are likely to meet 5 or 6 animals during an hour long session. Our presenter will simply take each animal around the room, chatting to the residents and encouraging them to handle the animals.
Our wonderful presenters are friendly and professional, and experienced in working with the elderly and people with learning difficulties.
