Vintage Ruby is a trained jazz singer who has been entertaining people in their residential care homes and day centres since 2006. She can sing a lovely mix of songs to suit all music tastes. She can also cater for themes such as Christmas, Valentine's Day, 1920s Gatsby, Country & Western, 1960s to present day Pop themes, St Patrick's Day, Musicals & Films, Disney theme, 1940s sing-a-long Wartime Remembrance Day and St George's Day themes.
Ruby has a repertoire that spans the 1920s to the present day and sings Jazz, Pop, Country, Motown, Disco, Music Hall and Rock 'n' Roll. Ruby can dress for your theme and wears a lovely selection of vintage style dresses and hats.
Ruby always makes her shows as interactive as possible, encouraging people to join in through singing along, clapping and dancing, or she can be a background singer, depending on your requirements. She regularly sings for people with dementia and disabilities. Ruby aims to create a lovely fun atmosphere wherever she sings so that people's spirits are lifted.
