Wealdlink Commuity Transport

Community Transport, driven by need.

What does it do?

Wealdlink Community Transport is dedicated to connecting people across North Wealden with safe, reliable, and affordable travel options. We believe that everyone, regardless of circumstance, deserves the freedom to get out, stay connected, and live independently.

At Wealdlink, we’re not just providing transport—we’re helping people stay connected to the life around them.

Who it is for?

Our mission is to support those who may feel isolated due to limited transport options, including individuals who are vulnerable or disadvantaged. By offering a range of services, from regular scheduled routes (run on behalf of East Sussex County Council) and shopping trips, to enjoyable community outings, we help people stay engaged, maintain their independence, and feel part of the wider community.

Where it is available?

Local service (Wealden).

How to access or apply for it:

We run regular door-to-door Shopping Services for anyone who has difficulty accessing normal service buses.

To use this service, passengers will need to register first. Registration is completely free. Simply call 01892 771332, and a member of our team will take your name and address. On the day before your journey, we will give you a call to let you know the approximate time we expect to arrive.

Please remember that journeys must be booked in advance. You can make your booking at any time before the day you wish to travel.

We also operate a Community Trips service for eligible groups. Please see our website for further details.
