Enablement Support Service

Local, friendly visiting service reducing isolation and loneliness.

What does it do?

Enablement Support aims to address loneliness and isolation due to the impact they have on health and wellbeing. It enables people to continue doing the things they enjoy.

Family and carers are increasingly leading busy lives and can often feel overwhelmed and stressed. Familes are also increasingly living further away from their loved ones and can feet guilty that they cannot provide enough support. Enablement Support can help with this.

Enablement Support involves me spending time with your loved one. I provide a local, friendly visiting service that aims to reduce isolation and loneliness and support individuals to do things they enjoy.

Activities are based on the individuals wishes and needs and can vary from simply having a cup of tea and a chat, doing a much loved hobby in their home or heading out in to the community to a cafe, library, park etc.

Enablement Support can be whatever you want it to be however the overall aim is to enhance an individual's quality of life.
