On first contact we will request a brief outline of the support and needs required and the time, numbers of days the support is needed. This will allow us to cost and detial what we can provide in line with your needs. We will inform you of the costings before arranging an initial assesment.

The initial assesment will consist of a memeber of our senior team meeting with you and those who you wish to be involved in your support meeting and dicussing your needs in more detail, collating the relevent personal data needed for the team to provide support, a large part of this is for you to have your say from the beginning of how you want to be supported and what matters to you. This information is used to develop a care plan a type of road map for the team, a template for them to provide the support requested, continuity is the aim with you in the driving seat and setting the pace.

We will go through the paperwork with you and those close to you (your choice of who this is). From the starter pack and information, contact details, complaints and how to speak up if you are not 100% happy or if you want to say how amazing someone did when they supported you. It is important you have what you need to answer your questions and to enable you to keep control of the support provided.

We will also provide you with the initial contract and this may be signed on the day or we will leave this for you to read and work through before signinig and making a decision. All paper work is availble in other formats, colours etc what ever will make it easier for you to access.
